CPC fixes one of single mooring points, starts fixing another
MOSCOW, Nov 14 (PRIME) -- Caspian Pipeline Consortium has finished fixing one of the two single mooring points suspended over malfunctions, and the contractor has started working on the second, CEO Nikolai Gorban told reporters on November 12.
“Works to replace the buoyancy tank at the first single mooring point of our company’s maritime terminal were fully finished today. All work has been completed, the single mooring point has been commissioned, and loading of the first tanker is going on right now,” he said.
It is difficult to forecast how much time the contractor will take to fix the second single mooring point as it depends on the weather conditions, he said.
CPC had to suspend two of the three single mooring points on August 22 because of malfunctions.
